I would highly recommend Journey ELC Burwood to all parents. Our eldest daughter is almost ready to graduate and begin the next stage of her school life.. and she couldn't be better prepared thanks to the caring and professional staff and educators at Journey Burwood. From making many new friends, exploring and celebrating different cultures and learning through play and creative tasks, she has flourished in such a friendly and encouraging environment. We look forward to also enrolling our youngest daughter at Journey Burwood very soon!

Our son Galen is 4, full of energy and curiosity, and finding the right early learning environment for him hasn’t always been easy. From our very first visit to Journey, we could tell this place was different — warm, creative, and genuinely child-centred. The educators really take the time to get to know each child. They noticed what excites Galen — whether it’s building, exploring textures, or telling stories — and gently guided him to build confidence and independence through those interests. He comes home excited to share what he’s learned, which is such a joy to see. We also appreciate the communication with families. The team keeps us updated, not just with photos and summaries, but with meaningful insights into Galen’s development and social growth. It’s clear that they care deeply about helping children thrive both emotionally and intellectually. Overall, it has been such a positive part of Galen’s journey.

We’re so grateful to the amazing team at this centre, especially Rose and Monique, for the care and attention they’ve shown our child.... The educators have taken the time to really understand him and support his needs, and it’s made such a difference. Recently, when our little one was transitioning rooms and showing some unusual behaviour, the staff called with a detailed update and genuine concern. Thanks to their attentiveness, we were able to follow up with our GP and discovered he had blocked ears and hadn’t been hearing properly — something we might not have picked up so quickly without their insight. It’s such a comfort knowing he’s surrounded by educators who truly care. They’re an important part of our village, helping raise happy, healthy kids. Highly recommend this centre!

Thank you, Journey Lara, for taking such wonderful care of my girls. We recently moved from the Northern Territory, and my youngest has spent the past three months settling into life here in Victoria. From her very first day until now, I’ve noticed such a big change in her. She has started talking more with her friends, engaging confidently with educators, and participating happily in all activities. My older daughter has also learned so much through the amazing kinder programs , she comes home excited to share what she’s discovered every day. A special thank-you to all the educators and to our Centre Manager, Krystal, for making us feel so welcome and at home. We also love being greeted each morning by Tamara and the team’s warm smiles it truly brightens our day. We’re so grateful to be part of the Journey Lara family. ❤️
